Operation Round Up is an initiative empowering Mor-Gran-Sou Electric members to make a difference in our communities. Members can round up their monthly utility bills to the next dollar, donating their spare change to the Mor-Gran-Sou Charitable Foundation, Inc.
Our Foundation Board, comprising of Mor-Gran-Sou Electric members themselves, diligently allocates these funds through grants to local non-profit organizations. Every penny raised by members stays within our communities, supporting vital causes and projects.
On average, participating members contribute approximately $6 annually, with the maximum monthly donation capped at just 99 cents. These contributions are tax-deductible, and participating members receive a yearly summary on their billing statements.
All rounded-up funds are channeled directly into the Mor-Gran-Sou Electric Charitable Foundation, Inc., under the oversight of the board of directors. Mor-Gran-Sou Electric personnel manage the program as a dedicated service to the foundation, ensuring transparency and impact in our giving.
