Mor-Gran-Sou residential members can use their VISA, MasterCard, or Discover credit or debit card to pay their monthly electric bill. Payment can be handled either as a recurring or one-time payment option.

  • Recurring Credit Card Payment: Residential members may enroll for this method by using the IVR pay line 1-833-523-0515 or enroll using the SmartHub link at www.morgransou.com or downloading the app from the appropriate phone carrier. After enrollment, members can expect their credit card to by charged on the 15th of each month for the current month’s electric bill.

  • One-Time Credit Card Payment: Residential members may use their credit card to make a one-time payment on their electric bill, a phone call with the credit card information must be made to the secure pay line at 1-833-523-0515 or the SmartHub link at www.morgransou.com may be used.  The member may also download the app from the appropriate phone carrier.

  • Transaction maximums may apply.

For more information on the use of credit or debit cards, please contact Mor-Gran-Sou.

Requirements by credit card companies may affect you

Credit card companies require tight security to protect personal information from being breached. The Payment Card Industry (PCI) has requirements for credit card payments that impact the way Mor-Gran-Sou Electric Cooperative, Inc., accepts credit card payments.

Mor-Gran-Sou member service representatives cannot verbally accept credit card payments over the phone. Credit card payments can still be made over the phone, but instead of talking to a member service representative, you will be transferred to our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. This system is PCI-compliant and can be accessed directly by calling 1-833-523-0515. You will be able to choose prompts to check your account status, make a payment and update personal information affecting your account, such as a phone number. Like other businesses, we are required to be in compliance with PCI regulations to avoid costly penalties and fines.

We offer many options for our members to pay their monthly utility bills. For information see other options in the Payment Options page.

Mor-Gran-Sou remains committed to you, the member-owner. The personal touch and quality member service you are accustomed to remains. Mor-Gran-Sou personnel are only a phone call away to answer your questions and concerns, including questions about your electric utility bill. Thank you for your continued patronage to Mor-Gran-Sou. We work diligently to protect you and your information.
