Levelized budget billing can help you beat those monthly billing blues.
Perhaps you would benefit by being on the levelized billing program offered by Mor-Gran-Sou.
Levelized budget billing is a billing method whereby the member's bill is recalculated every month based on the past 12-month’s bills and the amount due will fluctuate. The amount will change each month, but since it is an average, it is not a big change from month to month. There is no recompute month for this billing routine.
A note to those members who participate in the levelized budget billing program: When you look at your bill, please pay the Budget Due by 00/00/09 line amount.
A Bit of History
Mor-Gran-Sou offered two budget billing options to help members budget to pay their electric bill. Those budget billing programs included the fixed budget (also referred to as the average monthly billing program) and the levelized billing programs. Members, please note: Because of North Dakota’s fluctuation in weather patterns, members who participated in this program found that, at times, their budget billing payment might not cover their monthly utility bill payment. This type of situation has led Mor-Gran-Sou Electric to discontinue the fixed budget billing payment plan.
The fixed budget billing program is no longer available in 2009; however, we will continue to offer the levelized budget billing program which is recalculated monthly on the past 12-months bills.
